Xylometazoline hydrochloride
A strong, topical, alpha-adrenergic agonist that is indicated for the relief of nasal congestion due to colds, hay fever, allergic rhinitis and sinusitis. It may also be used to aid drainage of secretions in affections of the paranasal sinuses.23
Seawater
Hypertonic seawater (2.2% salt concentration) provides a natural, direct decongestive effect by reducing swelling via the action of osmosis, and is capable of clearing the nose of mucus-trapped bacteria, viruses and impurities.25The isotonic seawater solution can clear excess sticky mucus and encrusted debris to cleanse and unblock the nasal passageways.26,27
Eucalyptol and menthol
Menthol provides a cooling effect by stimulating temperature receptors in the nose, leading to the perception of decongestion, and improved nasal breathing.28,29 Eucalyptol is thought to have antibacterial and antiviral activity against pathogens isolated from patients with respiratory tract infections.30
Aloe vera
Nasal sprays containing aloe vera help to gently cleanse the nasal cavities in the presence of a blocked nose.31 As aloe vera contains moisturising properties, it promotes retention of moisture within tissues32 and soothes the nasal passages.31
Sorbitol and Hypromellose
Sorbitol and hypromellose, found in a nasal spray or drops, soothe and moisturise dry and irritated nasal passageways.24,35

Otrivin Adult Nasal Metered – Dose Spray
OTRIVIN ADULT NASAL Metered- Dose Spray is specially formulated with a topical vasoconstrictor, which is clinically proven to decongest the nasal passage and improve nasal airflow23,35 during the common cold, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis.23

Otrivin Adult Nasal Drops
OTRIVIN ADULT Nasal Drops is a fast and long-lasting nasal topical decongestant (xylometazoline), with ingredients to soothe and moisturise dry and irritated nasal passages.7,23,33,34

Otrivin Menthol Nasal Metered-Dose Spray
OTRIVIN MENTHOL Nasal Metered-Dose Spray contains xylometazoline, which belongs to the group of the alkyl imidazolines and acts on the α-adrenergic receptors. OTRIVIN MENTHOL has vasoconstrictor action, producing decongestion of the nasal and pharyngeal mucosa when administered locally
Key Ingredients: 1 ml contains 1 mg of xylometazoline hydrochloride.Preservative: 0,01 % m/v benzalkonium chloride. Excipients: disodium edetate, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, eucalyptol (Cineole), menthol (Levomenthol), polyoxyl 40 hydrogenated castor oil (Cremophor RH 40), purified water, sodium chloride, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, sorbitol 70 % (non-crystallising).
Otrivin Plus Nasal Spray
Otrivin Plus nasal spray provides symptomatic treatment of the worst nasal symptoms, such as blocked nose, rhinorrhoea and sinus pressure due to common colds6-9.
Key ingredients: 1 ml contains 0,6 mg of ipratropium bromide and 0,5 mg of xylometazoline hydrochloride.

OTRIVIN SEA WATER with Eucalyptus Nasal Spray provides gentle and natural relief of nasal cold symptoms with a combination of hypertonic seawater and eucalyptus.37

Otrivin Sea Water with Aloe Vera
OTRIVIN SEA WATER with Aloe Vera Nasal Spray is a preservative-free, natural ingredients like isotonic sea water solution. This product also contains natural powder of Aloe Vera plant, which is known to have soothing and moisturising properties.
Ingredients: Aloe Vera powder, sea water and purified water. Preservative free. Nitrogen is added as an inert propellant gas in the pressurized device. The propellant gas is not in contact with the solution.
Otrivin Baby Care Moisturising Nasal Spray
OTRIVIN BABY CARE Moisturising Nasal Spray is an isotonic saline solution which gently cleanses the nasal cavities when the nose is blocked. By washing away the excess mucus, OTRIVIN BABY CARE Moisturising Nasal Spray moisturises the nasal mucosa when dry or irritated in case of minor nasal irritations or due to low humidity.
Ingredients list: 0.74 % sodium chloride, macrogol glycerol hydroxystearate (castor oil), benzalkonium chloride, disodium edetate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, disodium phosphate anhydrous and purified water.
